PREMIERE JAPAN 2010 will screen the best and most recent films to come out of Japan selected by writer and East Asian film expert, Tony Rayns, and film scholar and critic, Alexander Jacoby.

A number of places are available specially for webmagazine subscribers for the gala screening of Villon's Wife on Friday, 10 December at 7.30pm. The screening will be preceded by a reception at 6.30 pm. Places will be allocated on a strictly first-come, first-served basis. Places are limited and registration in advance is essential. To apply, please email premiere@ld.mofa.go.jp by 5pm on 7 December with your name, email address and affiliation, quoting WEBMAGAZINE in the subject line.
