HYPER JAPAN will be packed with art, games, manga, anime and pop content from and inspired by Japan. Come and watch some award-winning creative work from the 15th Japan Media Arts Festival, or take in a traditional taiko performance from musician Joji Hirota. There's cutting-edge technology, authentic kimono, super-stylish street accessories and a packed stage programme too. Check out the UK Kawaii Star of the Year show to find a new 'Ambassador of Cute', take part in a cosplay show, or watch cello-playing, chart-topping, Lolita-fashion-wearing J-Pop artist Kanon Wakeshima.
HYPER JAPAN will also feature a number of charity events that will raise money for the people and regions affected by the Tohoku Pacific Earthquake of March 11. In fact, you'll be lending a hand simply by buying a ticket, as 10% of all net ticket revenue will be donated to the Japan Society Tohoku Earthquake Relief Fund, along with all money raised at the event.
HYPER JAPAN will be held over three days at the end of July, and kids under ten go free, so it's a great family outing as well as a fun and friendly venue to meet up with friends.
