Special Events Calendar - "One Year On"

The Embassy of Japan created the JAPAN-UK Events Calendar to mark 150 years of diplomatic relations between Japan and the United Kingdom and over the last few years the calendar has increasingly gained a huge audience.

In particular, we were inundated by requests from people to register their fundraising events in the wake of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. We were truely humbled by the efforts of the British public to raise funds for their counterparts in Japan who had been so adversley affected by this disaster.

As we appoach the 'one year on' mark, we have included a special section in our calendar where people can register their events in rememberance of the tragedy which occurred on 11 March. We encourage all registration requests, however big or small the event.

For more details on how to register your event, please go to the following link: Registration for JAPAN-UK Events Calendar
