Since the Great East Japan Earthquake struck on 11 March 2011, the outpouring of sympathy and support from people all over the world has been a great source of hope for people in Japan. Here in the UK, there have been many fundraising initiatives taking place and the Embassy alone has received スス174,413.86 in donations (as of April 15) for which we are very grateful.
This edition, we report on Foreign Minister Matsumoto's visit to London where he met Prime Minister Cameron and Foreign Secretary Hague.
We speak with David Warren, British Ambassador to Japan, Lori Henderson, Chief Executive of the British Chamber of Commerce in Tokyo, and The East Nippon Expressway Company. We also showcase some of the many fundraising events that have taken place.
In addition, find out more about the benefits of studying in Japan with MEXT Postgraduate Scholarships. |
