Job Vacancy: Assistant Staff (Commission of Services)

Employment Period: 1 June 2021 to 31 March 2022
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am-6:00pm (Lunch hour: 12:45pm-1:45pm) with possibility of overtime work
Location: Embassy of Japan in the UK
Salary: £14 per hour

Job Details:
Duties include:
  1. Maintain, manage and update Japan Season of Culture in the UK website, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  2. Receive, review and communicate the results of applications for “official event of Japan Season of Culture in the UK
  3. Act as a focal point for enquiries related to Japan Season of Culture in the UK
  1. Strong ability to promptly update and change the content of website (applicants preferably have past work experience of creating and maintaining a website)
  2. Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  3. Excellent command of the English language (reading, writing and speaking)
  4. Good command of the Japanese language
  5. All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration Act (permanent residency, dependent visa, etc).
