Sake Classes

Christine Parkinson, Group Head of Wine for Hakkasan Group, and Anthony Rose of the Independent and The Wine Gang and Co-Chair of the Tokyo International Sake Challenge will hosts guests in Sake no Hana’s ground floor bar for a sake class.

Running from 10.15am, each half-day masterclass costing £60 per person will offer an introduction to the history of Japan’s national drink, with a particular focus on how and when to drink it.

Guests will try seven sakes and one umeshu, a traditional Japanese plum wine, followed by lunch.

They will also receive a gift bag on departure, including a bottle of sake and a kikichoko ‘snake eye’ sake cup.
