Japanese Foreign Policy in the Asian Theatre, Mitoji Yabunaka, Adviser to Nomura Research Institute and Former Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs

14 March 2011, London

In this lecture and the subsequent discussion, which is to be very kindly hosted by Nomura, members of The Japan Society and their guests will be able to draw on the great experience of Mr Mitoji Yabunaka, former Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs and now advisor at The Nomura Research Institute, as he explores Japan’s relationship with its neighbours. The very distinctive shifts in economic power in the world make Japan’s alliances, agreements and international issues increasingly important to the global balance. This will be a highly relevant session with a much respected, authoritative speaker.

Further information will be available shortly.

This event is free however booking is required. To reserve your place, please call the Japan Society office on 020 7828 6330 or email events@japansociety.org.uk .
