Why “Pax Japonica” matters? Heading to the resurrection of Japan? - A Speech by TAKEO HARADA, a former Japanese career diplomat and CEO/Representative of IISIA

24 November 2017, London

A former Japanese career diplomat and founder & CEO of the leading consulting firm / think tank called IISIA in Japan, TAKEO HARADA will deliver a speech on “PAX JAPONICA”, taking a place at “Foyles Bookstore” on 24 November 2017, being hosted by LID Publishing, the fifth largest publishing house in Europe.
East Asia around Japan has long been a crucially important region in world politics and economics, particularly with the rise of PRC, which is likely to become the world’s largest economy in the next twenty years.
Now with tensions rising in Far East, TAKEO HARADA explains that “PAX JAPONICA” is going to be the key to understand how UK businesses should successfully navigate themselves to do business in this region and even beyond that.
Having suffered continuing financial turmoil since the Heisei bubble economy collapse in 1990, combined with a lack of innovation that has starved the country of its full potential, not a few believe in the fall of Japan. However, “PAX JAPONICA” leads you to explore the new and astounding insight into Japan’s hidden role as designated controller of large, often secret funds kept for the purpose of rescuing humankind from ultimate disasters.
The event will be combined with Janathan Geldart, a China expert who works at the very top level in China on business. The discussion will be moderated by Ben Walker, Editor of Dialogue Review, a publication produced by the prestigious Duke University.
