The 15th Hina Matsuri 2016

27 February 2016, Glasgow

1 to 2.30pm: Japanese Experience corners for visitors to try origami, write their names in Japanese alphabets, colour in Japanese fairy tales, and sample Japanese sweets.


2.30 to 3.30Pm: Performance corner for Japanese Taiko drumming by P5 pupils from Hillhead Primary, Glasgow, who did Taiko workshops as part of their study of Japan, and by those who participated Taiko Fun Workshops.


Free and open to all, regardless of their backgrounds


The festival will be organised by Japanese Matsuri for Glasgow, a recognised Scottish charity (SC034172), with support from the Japan Society of the UK and Ichiban Noodle & Sushi Cafe, Glasgow.
