ARIGATO (thank you)  Parade & ARIGATO (thank you) booth - JAPAN NEXT Campaign -

18 March 2012, London

The Japanese government will participate in the Mayor of London's St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival. Led by an ARIGATO (thank you) banner, a group of traditional Japanese musical performers that was formed especially for this event will also participate in the parade together with geisha and maiko, traditional Japanese female performers, and a Japanese dance group to communicate Japan’s appreciation for the outpouring of support following the Great East Japan Earthquake. Additionally, an ARIGATO (thank you) booth will be displayed in the festival venue to show our gratitude for the support provided to Japan from abroad after the Great East Japan Earthquake, while also introducing the attractiveness of Japanese food, content and fashion, among other features.
