
Sale of The 'Lady Blunt' Stradivarius by Tarisio Auctions - all proceeds to Earthquake Relief Fund

The Nippon Music Foundation has made an extraordinary
offer to assist in the recovery efforts of their native Japan.
In a gesture of deep generosity they have decided to sell
what is considered the finest violin of their collection and
one of the two best preserved Stradivarius violins in the
world, the ‘Lady Blunt’ Stradivarius of 1721.
The Nippon Foundation have pledged the entire proceeds
of the sale to The Nippon Foundation’s Northeastern
Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund.
Tarisio Auctions is honoured to present the 'Lady Blunt'
for auction on June 20th in London on behalf of The
Nippon Music Foundation.
Free public viewing at The Westbury Hotel on
19 (11:00-19:00) & 20 (10:00 -17:00) June 2011.
