
Experience Japanese Culture at Chiddingstone Castle

A special open day inspired by Chiddingstone Castle’s important Japanese collections, with its ancient Samurai armour, swords and lacquer will take place on Sunday, 15th July between 11am and 4pm. There will be something for all members of the family, including Kyudo (Japanese archery) demonstrations, Tameshigiri and Iai (Japanese sword art) demonstrations and the chance to experience a traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony (Cha Do) and life size calligraphy painting (Shodo).
Admission: Adults £8, Children under 5 FREE, Children 5 to 13 £4, Families (2 adults+ 2 children or 1 adult + 3 children) £21.50
