
Inclusive Glasgow, Inclusive Scotland: a Japanese view

A series of workshops on inclusive aspects of Scotland from a Japanese viewpoint and of Japanese society.
The workshop will be held at University of Strathclyde Chaplaincy Centre from 2 to 4pm, except on 8 November when it will be held at University of Glasgow Chapel from 7.30 to 9pm.
The workshop will be free and open to the public.
12 Oct: ‘Inclusive Glasgow, Inclusive Scotland’ with the screening of ‘Our Scotland: a Japanese perspective’ and ‘The bird, the tree, the bell and the fish of Glasgow’
28 Oct: ‘Hiroshima’ with the screening of ‘Hiroshima in 2013’
8 Nov: ‘Inclusive Glasgow, Inclusive Scotland’ with the screening of ‘Our Scotland: a Japanese perspective’ and ‘The bird, the tree, the bell and the fish of Glasgow’
9 Nov: ‘Housing’ with the screening of ‘Glasgow West Housing Association: an unofficial story’ and ‘Live a tradition in Maramures, Romania’
23 Nov: ‘Origami workshop’
8 Feb: ‘Glasgow Chai Party’ to enjoy a variety of Chai (tea) from various places
22 Feb: ‘Equality and diversity in Japan’
8 March: ‘Fukushima’ with the screening of ‘Fukushima: 2011-2015’
The workshops at University of Strathclyde Chaplaincy Centre will be organised by the university’s Equality and Diversity Office and Japan Desk Scotland.
The workshop at University of Glasgow Chapel will be organised by University of Glasgow Chaplaincy and Japan Desk Scotland.
