
Green Mountains Walking, A talk on Japanese Gardens

Internationally renowned Garden Designer and Creator, Robert Ketchell is coming to Deddington to give a one off talk on Japanese gardens to support Deddington Nursery & PFSU.
Robert has over 30 years of designing and creating gardens all over the world. He initially trained in horticultural studies before working for several years in Kyoto, Japan, as a garden apprentice. He has worked on projects for both private and commercial clients; he has also led a number of projects for charitable organisations such as Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Robert has given many lectures and is committed to spread the experience and attractiveness of Japanese gardens. He has written exhaustively, contributing to many journals, and has also published books. He is the Chairman of the Japanese Garden Society and was bestowed the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette by the Japanese government in recognition of his significant contribution to introducing, preserving and restoring Japanese gardens in Britain.
Entry includes a glass of wine on arrival. All proceeds will be split equally between Deddington Nursery and PFSU
