
Japanese Ink Painting Workshops

Japanese Ink Painting courses held in the studio of Talia LeHavi in Hampstead during March and April on Saturday mornings and Tuesday evenings.
Workshops offer new ways of expression utilizing the principles of minimalism, simplicity and the discipline of mind, hand and brush.
Using Japanese brushes, ink and paper and based on traditional painting manuals, the workshops offer the practitioner confidence and fluency with brushwork, to give expression to the harmonies of nature.
Learning the basic of brush painting by rendering traditional Japanese themes, such as bamboo, plum-blossom and wild orchid, as well as an early introduction into calligraphy characters (kanji).
Admission: £65 per person for each workshop
