               Japan Festival for Families at the V&A 
                  Sunday 1 May  11.00 –  17.00 
                 
                  Join in the Japanese Festival for Children to  celebrate their growth and happiness. Watch performances by the Masuda String  Puppets, seen for the first time in Britain, plus Nihon Buyo  group  led by Hiroko Tanaka, music by Joji Hiroto London Taiko Drummers and Koto  playing by Keiko Kitamura. Listen to Tales from Old Japan performed by Kumiko  Mendl. 
                 
                  Make paper koinobori and a card samurai  helmet, origami with the British Origami Society and create your own manga character  or digital emoji. Activities for all the family.
