Cosmic Surfing - Kengo Kito
13 September - 11 October 2010, London
Kengo Kito has become one of the leaders of a new generation of Japanese artists.
He is well-known for large installations using common industrial materials; however he has recently been creating a series of new paintings using images from fashion magazines. The original meaning and context that reflect the superficial society are lost and transformed into sublime abstract movements on his canvas.
