«Japan» by David Salas
In march of 2009 the photographer David Salas embarked on a trip to portray Japan and its people. The ensuing photographs represent the numerous types of people that inhabit this culture. The artist travelled through various cities in his journey –including Tokyo, Kamakura, Kyoto, Hiroshima and Mijayima- and focused his attention on the perceptions, culture and traditions of the Japanese people. « Japan » is a photographic document that aims to inspire and teach viewers here in the UK about the people of Japan, their centuries old traditions, their respect for all living creatures and their search for inner peace.
