Artist Talk: Tadasu Takamine

Japanese artist Tadasu Takamine, whose work Too far to See is currently on show at Ikon gallery, Birmingham, will visit the Japan Foundation, London to give a talk about his career and work to date. Known for his forthright artistic approach and as one not to shy away from shocking or confronting the audience, this is a rare opportunity to hear from Takamine about his approach to his work and his opinions on issues of art and society, as well as his response to the varied reactions his work has received from critics and audiences alike.
