
Gallery Talk: Spotlight on Metal Tableware with OHIZUMI BUSSAN

The gallery talk is part of the programme of events taking place in conjunction with the exhibition BIOLOGY OF METAL: METAL CRAFTSMANSHIP IN TSUBAME-SANJO, which is open until 28 October 2018 at Japan House London.
Delve deeper into the exhibition with a spotlight gallery talk on metal tableware manufacturing by master craftsman OIZUMI Kazutaku from OHIZUMI BUSSAN. We ask participants to please meet at the welcome desk in the Lobby on the lower ground floor, 10 minutes before the talk begins.
About the Maker: OHIZUMI BUSSAN Founded in 1943, Ohizumi Bussan has received global recognition for its high technical ability and advanced stainless steel processing techniques. It is responsible for manufacturing the 'Kay Bojeson’ and ‘ICHI’ cutlery brands, designed by two Danish designers, Kay BOJESON and Ole PALSBY, respectively.
The exhibition BIOLOGY OF METAL: METAL CRAFTSMANSHIP IN TSUBAME-SANJO is created in collaboration with the Tsubame-Sanjo Factory Festival (Kouba no Saiten).
