
Sumiko Okubo exhibition at the Riverside Gallery, Richmond

A free exhibition featuring recent works by internationally acclaimed artist Sumiko Okubo. Combining an array of printmaking techniques from etching, acquaint to collograph, Sumiko’s vibrant, intricate works fuse the luminous, misty style of the Korin School and European modernism.
Okubo explores the archetypal themes of the changing seasons, the elements, and the joy of the natural world. Spiritual, metaphysical - this exhibition is not to be missed. Exhibition continues until 18 September 2010.
