27 May 2016, London

FRIDAY LATE
Neo Nipponica
Friday 27 May
18.30 – 22.00

Japan is a nation known both for its reverence for tradition and its futuristic focus. To celebrate the refurbishment of the Toshiba Gallery of Japanese Art, we will explore the art, design, sounds and nuances of Nippon. Discover how traditions can be reinterpreted, the possibilities offered by new technology and what ‘Japanese’ can mean in our increasingly globalised world.

All events are free and places are designated on a first-come, first-served basis, unless stated otherwise. Filming and photography will take place at this event.

Please note, if the Museum reaches capacity we will allow access on a one-in, one-out basis.
