Let's Try Ikebana!
Exhibitions, demonstrations and a chance to create your own Ikebana

Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arranging developed early in the 7th century. The Sogetsu School was established in 1927 by Sofu Teshigahara and is one of the best known schools in Japan.
The event comprises three activities.
1, Exhibition of Ikebana; Around 40 individual arrangements by members will be displayed including some floor standing ones.
2, Demonstrations ; The visitors to the event will be able to watch the process of creation. Our qualified members will be involved.
3, Create your own Ikebana ; This part of the event will enable members of the public to create their own Ikebana under the direction of teachers. This section will be open all day. Plant materials, containers and other mechanics will be supplied by our London Branch and will be free of charge
