Once a young girl filled with hopes and dreams, Mitsue's life is suddenly changed forever when the atomic bomb falls on Hiroshima. Conscious-stricken that she did not die like so many of those she cared for, this moving story revolves around the life of Mitsue and the relationship with her father as she struggles to overcome her deep-seated feelings of guilt and fear...

Brought to us by the prominent, late director, Kuroki Kazuo, this film ensures that the lives of the hibakusha, or survivors of the atomic bomb, are remembered and not forgotten.
