Three Hams in a Can at Bradford International Film Festival
21 March 2010, Bradford
The Japanese-Australian cross-cultural documentary Three Hams in a Can will have its international premiere at the Bradford International Film Festival, which runs in Bradford UK from March 18-28. Director Kenta McGrath will be in attendance.
Three Hams in a Can observes the everyday goings-on of three Australian experimental musicians (Chris Cobilis, Predrag Delibasich, Stina Thomas) during their tour of Tokyo. Full of heart and humour, the film takes a minimalist approach to documenting the tour and the strange, yet familiar world the musicians enter. It is part music documentary, part home movie and part meditation on friendship, lonelienss and the strangeness of life.
