COTSWOLD EKIDEN – Japanese-inspired relay running race.
3rd September 2017 at Sudeley castle, Winchcombe, Gloucestershire.
Teams of four will take on an off-road 5.5km route to get their tasuki to the finish line. This will be done against a backdrop of the beautiful Cotswold hills and the inspiring Sudeley castle.
Runners will have chip-timing and a finishers t-shirt and medal.
The event hub includes free parking, ample toilets, hot and cold refreshments for sale, Japanese entertainment and live race feeds to watch your teammamtes on the course.
The race is suitable for runners of all abilities and we take great pride in looking after newer runners. This event is truly unique in the UK because of its inspiring combination of English beauty and Japanese tradition.
Discounted entry fee for runners affiliated to UK Athletics, Trail Running Association and those registered with parkrun.
Admission:£11 (affiliated) or £13 (unaffiliated) per runner
