KYOGEN in Japanese Sign Language in London

9 & 10 July 2013, London

Japanese Theatre of the Deaf (JTD) was founded I Tokyo 30 years ago. We have shown our performing arts for Deaf, hard of hearing and hearing people. Kyogen is a Japanese traditional comedy theatre on a very simple stage. We approach it in JSL (Japanese Sign Language). It is voiceoverd by professional Kyogen actors, so every audience can understand and enjoy our show together.

This show is the first opportunity in UK for us. So we are very happy to introduce it to many theatre goers and Disabled people in UK, at the award-winning Bradbury Studios, the home of Graeae Theatre Company. Also we have a FREE workshop for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Disabled and non-Disabled people.
