An evening of piano, shakuhachi and belly dance by Yugao, a popular fusion ensemble from Kyoto.
Yugao (ͼ´é) began i 2009 as a Bach collaboration, their first recital of several cantata pieces performed by Yoshida Koichi on Shakuhachi, Ippei Ikeda on Piano, and William Prunkl on cello, Enticed by the possibilites of this unusual ensemble, the group's repertoire began to include jazz, traditional Japanese and folk music, as well as many of their own original compositions.
Two members of this popular Kyoto ensemble, Yoshida Koichi and Ikeda Ippei, will be joined by special guest dancer, Jamilla on this european Tour.
