Seiko Tsukamoto

Seiko Tsukamoto studied at the National Conservatory in Paris under Jacques Rouvier and at the State Academy of Music Hanover under Arie Vardi. Second Prize at the Vladimir Horowitz International Competition (1999, Kiev), Third prize at the Geneva International Music Competition, as well as being the finalist at the Queen Elizabeth International Competition are only a part of her success in piano competitions. Her appearances in Japan and major countries in Europe as well as Israel and the United States have resulted in many invitations to participate in festivals: Braunschweiger Kammermusik Podium, Pianoforte Fest Meissen (Germany), the Guibbio Festival (Italy). As a soloist she has performed with the Israel Camerata Jerusalem, the Israel Chamber Orchestra and the Menuhin Festival Orchestra, under the baton of Sir Yehudi Menuhin.
