11 November 2012, London

St George’s Bloomsbury Sunday Recital Series Special Charity Concert

.
Saori Nakazawa Soprano

Diana Wright Piano

Programme (subject to change) to include opera arias by Mozart and Handel, music by Ivor Novello, and Japanese and English traditional songs.

This special concert is to raise funds for sustainable recovery projects in areas of Japan affected by the 2011 earthquake.

A small number of limited edition heart-shaped brooches will be available to buy at the concert to support the EAST LOOP project for women whose lives are affected by the 2011 earthquake and tsunami.  EAST LOOP supports women from the disaster-hit area through helping to sell their small items of handicraft.

Brooches are priced at ¡ò7; half of this money is given directly to the person who made it, not only providing the workers with direct income, but raising their hope and returning the smiles to their faces.  For more info, please go to
