A Super-Collider at Kings Place - curated by Dai Fujikura

Composer Dai Fujikura brings together top musicians for an evening of music on, Monday 8 November, 8pm with an eclectic mix of stars from the contemporary music world.

Not only will there be an opportunity to hear three world premieres:
Fujikura's 'Okeanos Cycle' written for and dedicated to the Japanese/Western mixed ensemble  OKEANOS, there will also be premieres of a new work by David Toop and an electronic work with video born from a collaboration between Fujikura and Ryuichi Sakamoto.

These new works are placed beside seminal pieces from the contemporary repertoire:

Pascal Gallois performs Berio's Sequenza (which was written for him), Toccatina for solo violin by Lachenmann and Recitations for solo voice by Georges Aperghis.
