The Green Chorus Annual Concert

The Green Chorus is a Japanese women’s choir based in London that was founded in 1986.  Since last year, the group has taken part in the chorus events at the Royal Festival Hall called the Voicelab Welcomes.

 

The programme for the Annual Concert includes: songs written by Shuntaro Tanikawa, folk songs from Okinawa, Japanese children’s songs, the Beatles, madrigals, Vivaldi’s ‘La primavera’ and other classical songs, Taktakishvili’s Sonata for flute and piano and Gluck’s 'The Dance of the Blessed Spirits’.
