Taiko Meantime with Chieko Kojima: Dojoji

In April 2015, Taiko Meantime, Chieko Kojima and Clive Bell will collaborate to bring the famous Japanese legend of Anchin and Kiyohime to the UK. This dramatic tale of unrequited love will be expressed through Taiko drums, dance (Chieko Kojima) and flute (Clive Bell). Taiko Meantime's balance of powerful drumming and musical sensitivity, combined with Clive Bell's haunting melodies and Chieko's exquisite movement, stunning costumes and infectious love of performing, will make this show a unique and unforgettable experience for audience members.
