Japanese Tea and Okashimaru Sweets Tasting at Pantechnicon

Join Pantechnicon at the end of September for a tasting of seven speciality Japanese teas from tea experts My Cup of Tea. Each 90-minutes masterclass has just 10 places. Every cup of tea will be made with expertly sourced organic ingredients and served with a beautifully crafted sweet by Okashimaru, a Japanese confectioner which considers sweet making to be a form of art.

My Cup of Tea was launched in 2008 after founder Ausra Burg, who has a background in herbalism and herbal blending, started making her own tea and tisane blends using quality herbs, botanicals and essential oils in unusual combinations. You can find out more about the teas here.

Ausra recently launched her first book ‘Tea Stories: Japan’, an exploration of Japanese tea culture. She’ll also be joining us on the evening of 30 September (6pm) for a book signing during which tea cocktails will be served.

Tickets cost £50 per person.
