To mark London Craft Week 2021 (4–10 October), Japan House London hosts KI NO BI gin tasting events in The Shop on the Ground Floor. Drop in to learn about the brand, their products and the ingredients that go into KI NO BI gin production. Guests have the opportunity to taste two types of gin:
KI NO BI is a small-batch, artisanal gin created at The Kyoto Distillery, located in the south of Kyoto, one of the foremost sake-producing areas in Japan. Water is a key ingredient in gin production, which is why The Kyoto Distillery sources the natural water from a well in one of the region’s most famous saka gura (sake breweries). KI NO BI means ‘Beauty of the Seasons’, and true to the name, gin botanicals are sourced in season, when they are at their best.
The event is free to attend and is available for all visitors who drop into The Shop on the Ground Floor.
Japan House London operates a Challenge 25 policy during events, so guests who look under 25 may be asked to show proof of age. Japan House London reserves the right to refuse to serve alcohol to guests.
