An origami Christmas Tree sits in the Embassy’s Foyer Gallery for the festive season. The tree was originally created by Sharon Turvey of the British Origami Society in 2004 and has returned, assembled again this year by members of the British Origami Society.
The tree is adorned with origami decorations and visitors are invited to make their own decorations to add to the tree. Origami paper and instructions are provided.
The Embassy of Japan is open Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm.
Visitors are asked to show photographic ID on entrance to the Embassy.
