Pantechnicon has teamed up with the Roku Gin specialists at Suntory to create an al fresco eating and drinking destination like no other. Popping up from 30 June in Halkin Arcade, the sun-soaked courtyard behind Pantechnicon in Belgravia, they’ve created a beautiful space inspired by modernist designer Ikko Tanaka: visit for Japanese gin, kakigori shaved-ice cocktails and Japanese street food.
Gento Torigata, Head Mixologist at Pantechnicon, has crafted a menu of drinks especially designed for the summer, including kakigori-style cocktails made with ice that’s shaved from giant blocks right in front of you. For the hungry, there will be freshly made takoyaki and veganyaki balls, a much-loved street food in Japan. The Pantechnicon chefs have even created a sweet twist on takoyaki in the form of yuzuyaki!
There’s also an exciting programme of experiences and events alongside the pop-up – see the website to check them out.
