An annual festival celebrating Japanese animation and Japanese culture.
The Kotatsu Japanese Animation Festival 2022 takes place from October 1st to 2nd at Chapter and we will be showcasing 7 anime feature films and 1 short film, all of which span a wide range of genres and styles but are sure to provide entertainment.
Kotatsu remains the best place to watch anime on the big screen in Wales!

There will also be a raffle and our marketplace on offer and a community atmosphere, all of which comes with our fellow anime fans gathering at Chapter Arts to share a passion for animation.

New this year, why not settle down in our Manga Kissa( free comic corner) and read some of your favourite manga or general Japan-related books or magazines. If you have any spare reading material, please consider bringing them along and donating them to our reading area for others to enjoy.
