Join an intimate evening with celebrated chef and cookbook author Atsuko Ikeda at Japanese restaurant Sachi at Pantechnicon. Atsuko will be preparing a selection of Japanese small plates, snacks and sharing platters inspired by her new book Otsumami.
      Otsumami cooking is  all about preparing food for enjoying with drinks and friends – which is why  the evening will start with a cocktail, and each of Atsuko’s six-courses will  be served with a different drink pairing. Completing the dinner party feel, the  night will be held for just 20 guests in the beautiful Sachi private dining  room.

About Chef Atsuko Ikeda 
      
      Atsuko Ikeda is a Japanese chef, writer and photographer. She was  born in Kyushu, a southern island of Japan, known for onsen hot springs,  ceramics, and delicious food and drink.
A certificated nutritionist from the College of Naturopathic Medicine, Atsuko has also studied the art of Shojin Ryori (a healthy vegan cuisine derived from Japan’s Buddhist temple cooking). She is the author of three cookbooks: Sushi Made Simple, Atsuko’s Japanese Kitchen, and published by Ryland Peters & Small in April 2022, Otsumami – Japanese small bites & appetizers: Over 70 recipes to enjoy with drinks, now available at Pantechnicon.
