Join food writer Atsuko Ikeda, author of ‘Sushi Made Simple’, at Japan House London for a demonstration of otsumami – snacks and simple dishes designed to be eaten alongside a drink.
Otsumami includes dips, pickles, salads, gyoza, tempura, sushi, sashimi and more, featuring flavours such as dashi, ponzu, miso, soy and teriyaki.
Atsuko will demonstrate recipes from her new book ‘Otsumami’ and explain how to match ingredients and seasonings. Guests will be invited to taste all the created dishes.
At the end of the demonstration, Atsuko will also sign copies of her books purchased in The Shop.
