During the 2-day LONDON JAPAN FILM FESTIVAL on 20-21 May 2023 at Genesis Cinema, SSFF will give you a birds eye view of what culture in Japan looks like today. The event will be a deep dive into the various aspects that make up Japan, from dance to sushi and documentaries to feature films, complete with a mesmerising premiere of A MAN by Kei Ishikawa, winner of 8 Japanese awards and a look into the young and upcoming filmmakers that are shaking up Japanese cinema.
Our main partners will again be the GREAT BRITAIN SASAKAWA FOUNDATION.
South Social Film Festival is a not for profit that dedicates every event to a different COUNTRY, turning into a platform to celebrate DIVERSITY, community inclusion and emerging talents. https://www.southsocialfilmfestival.co.uk/
