From 13 September 2023, Japan House London celebrates five years of bringing the best of Japan to London and beyond with a special programme of free events, limited offers, and competitions. Join us for our first after-hours exhibition late event, create your own wagara (Japanese pattern) handkerchief or enter our competition in partnership with Japan Airlines to win two premium economy flights to Japan or gift cards to spend in the Shop. See below for the full programme of celebratory activities.
Keep an eye out for our team members in Kensington Arcade on 13, 14, 15 and 16 September as they hand out origami paper and instructions on how to fold a paper crane. Everyone who brings in a crane for our anniversary display between 13 and 24 September will receive a complimentary mochi.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has visited and supported Japan House London over the last five years and to extend a warm welcome to those who are discovering us for the first time.
