An annual festival celebrating Japanese animation and Japanese culture.
This year the Kotatsu Japanese Animation Festival takes place from September 31st to 1st October at Chapter and we will be showcasing 8 Japanese Animated feature films and 1 short film, all of which span a wide range of genres and styles but are sure to provide entertainment. A guitarist and shamisen player JERO11 will perform before Miss Hokusai screening on Saturday.
Kotatsu remains the best place to watch anime on the big screen in Wales!
There will also be a raffle and our marketplace on offer and a community atmosphere, all of which comes with our fellow anime fans gathering at Chapter Arts to share a passion for animation.
Why not settle down in our Manga Kissa( free comic corner) and read some of your favourite manga or general Japan-related books or magazines.
If you have any spare reading material, please consider bringing them along and donating them to our reading area for others to enjoy.
Please don’t take them home, so others can enjoy!
