On Wednesday 15 November we are delighted to welcome Tomohiko Taniguchi, former Special Advisor to the Cabinet of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, to discuss the position and future of Japan in the world. Guests are invited to join us for a talk and a discussion moderated by The Japan Society Chair, Bill Emmott, followed by an audience Q&A and drinks reception.
Dr Taniguchi will examine some of the fundamental issues influencing the Japanese politico-economic system today and in the inmediate future, putting them in the context of the changes and challenges of the current geopolitics and business trends in the contemporary world. Please note that Chatham House rules apply for this event.
