Sakura Fair

Come and enjoy delicious Japanese food, beautiful traditional accessories, children’s clothing, and classic Japanese games such as Kendama, Otedama, and super ball scooping. Plus, our hugely popular face painting from last year will return!

This year, we will also be holding a Tombola! Additionally, we are more than doubling the dining space and installing temporary toilets to enhance the overall facilities.

We invite you to experience an even bigger and better Sakura Fair this year. We look forward to welcoming you!

Sakura Fair is a charity market designed to ensure the sustainable operation of Nakayoshi Kai, making participation affordable and securing our activities for the future.

At the Sakura Fair, vendors will kindly donate a portion of their sales to support our cause.

Nakayoshi Kai is a charity organisation established in 1990, dedicated to supporting Japanese in the UK with children from pregnancy up to 18 years old. (Registered Charity No. 1212136) Our activities include childbirth classes, toddler groups, and Japanese literacy classes (hiragana, katakana, and kanji) for primary school children. We also run a support group for parents of children with school refusal or mild developmental disorders.

Our mission is to prevent isolation in parenting and preserve the Japanese language and culture for future generations.

TChildren: Free, Adults: £1.50 in advance, £2.50 on the day (Includes one raffle ticket)
