Hanabi:Firework is a brand-new festival of performance, film, and discussion that celebrates and showcases the innovative work of The Flames, from Scotland and Japan.
Bringing back showcase performances by The Flames and presenting brand-new collaborations between Scottish and Japanese artists, Hanabi:Firework will interrogate and challenge how the world sees us as we age and spotlight daring and contemporary creative work after 50.
We welcome everyone to join us for this daring inaugural festival, and to take part in making strides towards changing the cultural stigma of ageing in Scotland and beyond.
Expect to be challenged, moved, and surprised!
