Matcha Tasting – Rare Ippodo & New Blends for the UK by Watashi Tea

We are introducing our new blends, crafted specifically for the UK market.To highlight the unique taste differences, this session will focus on straight matcha tasting.

You will experience:

1. Two original Watashi Tea blends (specially created for the UK launch)
2. A rare, top-grade matcha from Ippodo, Kyoto – one of Japan’s most renowned tea brands – their Kanza blend, the highest grade, which is not currently available in the UK.

For those who wish, we will also provide oat milk so you can try the blends in a latte style and compare.

As a special treat, we’ll also host a small giveaway! Some of the premium matcha tins we’ve been using for comparison (not our own brand) will be raffled among participants.

Format

1. 90 min guided tasting (straight matcha focus)
2. Optional networking afterwards (~1h) : after the tasting, you’re welcome to stay for an informal networking session.
