Join us in the Shop for a Meet the Maker event and tasting with expert sake producer, Hakkaisan Brewery. Led by representatives from Hakkaisan, visitors can learn about their history, brewing techniques and range of sake.

Hakkaisan Brewery was founded in 1922 in Niigata Prefecture, an area well-regarded for sake production. Water is a key component in sake brewing, and Hakkaisan uses natural spring water from the foot of Mt. Hakkai nearby. As a result, the sake has a full body with a clear, smooth taste that enhances the flavour of accompanying food or snacks.
