Explore the cultures of Japan this half term with a series of free family-friendly activity workshops at Japan House London. During each workshop, participants can enjoy learning about Japan and unleashing their creativity, with activities including pictogram badge-making and sumo wrestler origami.
Sumo is one of Japan’s national sports, where two wrestlers, called rikishi, try to push each other out of a ring or make their opponent touch the ground. Fold your own paper rikishi, then play Tonton Sumo by tapping the ring to make your wrestler move and compete.
