For only the second time in 20 years, Legendary Taiko drummer Leonard Eto, one of the worlds most accomplished and innovative contemporary Taiko players, returns to the UK. Cultural envoy to Japan and ex musical director of the internationally renowned group Kodo; this time he brings his award-winning collaboration with classically trained ballerina Iori Tadokoro, in their performance fusing the power and sensitivity of Taiko with the grace and elegance of dance.
Support by Futari Taiko-Plus – Choreography, rhythm, movement; featuring James Barrow of TaikoWest, Teresa Brookes of PlayTaiko and members, in a powerful and creative Taiko performance.
